Shout Out Wednesday: And The Praise Keeps Coming For Our Talented Rock Stars

"I wanted to be sure I thanked each of you for your assistance with setting up for the 3D holiday display  yesterday. It really means a lot that you were all so willing to get things done fast and efficiently."

Good Morning Folks,

It seems like only yesterday I was getting calls about how the service in the legacy outsourcing companies that I had built, had fallen short, which began picking up the back of a napkin as a blank canvas to doodle my ideas on how I could come out of retirement and do it right.

Since then not only have we become the fastest growing company in all of outsourcing, but so far in 2015, as companies everywhere and even our competitors are cutting back and being spun off, we've hired over 200 employees, added major accounts inn dozens of cities to our ever expanding national roster of clients.... and best of all we promoted several of our Future Leaders to support our budding infrastructure!! FSO is truly embarking on something remarkable.

It's said that great leadership seems easy when things are good and everybody's happy. When times grow tough, however, a leader's true colors are revealed.

And what a challenging time for those true colors to shine with the severe weather all around us. But as you'll see from the comments below, when clients needed a true strategic partner they could count on, they counted on us. And we delivered.

Here are some of the AWESOME things our clients said about our motivated, team oriented, passionate people in the month of November… Keep up the EXCELLENT work!

To our team at a major NYC-based Motor Car Company
"Please view below for the End of Day report for 10-29-2015.

Monica Middlebrooks, IMG

"Thanks for all of your help with Hillary Mandel’s meetings today. It’s hard to plan things from another location but helpful to have you working on our team. We really appreciate it!"

To our Mary at NYC HQ of Major Retailer..
I just wanted to pass along some feedback from a resident regarding Mary Mellado. He wanted to compliment her on a job well done a few weeks back. Apparently, there was quite a ruckus after an event at VB3, and several intoxicated people were blocking the entrance to our parking garage, causing a disturbance at the back entrance to the building. The resident said that, while he was attempting to get into the garage, he witnessed Mary dispersing the crowd and taking control. He said she did a wonderful job of managing a very difficult situation. The resident said he often sees her in the evening, and she is a pleasure. It is always nice to get some positive feedback! Thanks to Mary for a job well done."

To Angila, Cherise, Alejandro, and Michael at AMLAW 200 Firm in Newark, NJ
"I just want to thank you for the wonderful job done by the FSO staff on the very large reproduction job with lots of exhibits. No explanation was needed."

To Stephen and Jimmy, Boston Records Team – At The Boston HQ of the Above Referenced AMLAW 200 Firm
"I just wanted to say that I have seen a HUGE improvement to Boston records! I want to particularly single out Stephen and Jimmy!! They are unbelievable! When you ask for labels, you get them right away! I also asked for stacks of files, and I feel that the lists are shorter than ever. The requests are done quickly and efficiently."

Whether a salesperson, an experience associate, a records manager, an informationalist, or messenger, what makes our folks so special is their ability to think beyond their daily tasks and think like our clients.

"What would the client want? What do they need? How could i be more proactive in their eyes? How could i really impress them?"

Do you know? Have you asked? Or are you assuming?  A true partner who never stops looking out for you, who takes that extra second to ask and then ACTS!

Never lose the passion, the smile and what makes you special but put yourself in our clients shoes and get to know what they might be thinking!

All of you are out in the field and have the power to make an incredible impact and a difference in the wealth and success of others.

I look forward to hearing stories from our clients how our team has made an impact by being a leader.

IT IS YOU that makes FSO who we are. Love Life!

Only 51 More Days Till The Happiest Time of The Year... Unless...

Photo: BitterSweetColours
"There'll be parties for hosting
Marshmallows for toasting
And caroling out in the snow
There'll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories
Of Christmases long, long ago
It's the most wonderful time of the year"

Good Morning Folks,

It's love at first chill with Christmas already in the air.

New York City is always great but I think it's magical on Christmas! It's bustling with so much energy and life. Everyone is walking briskly, smiling, saying hello, preparing to tip and thank the service people who support and make possible the great lives they enjoy in a very special place.

Such expressions of gratitude are an emotion so powerful it can transform ones mood from darkness to healing light and renew our zest for life.

Being grateful is an attitude of deep appreciation for the realities that surround us "moment to moment"...each day of our life.

But you don 't have to wait for Christmas to be happy. If you are stuck in a dead end job or responsible for back office support and get greeted in the morning by the Debbie Downer receptionist face, find deadlines unmet, critical support staff calling in sick, criticism rather than compliments from the boss, voice mail loops and layers of management bureaucracy instead of answers, FSO can change your destiny. Because happiness lives, breathes and starts everyday with you smiling right here.

FSO is driven by passionate people and the value they create. They are passionate about their work. Their passion and enthusiasm are the fuel that ignites our success. If there's one thing that FSO lives and breathes everyday – it's the employee experience. We focus on motivating and driving the hourly employee to deliver great service with a skip to their step, twinkle in the eye and fire in the belly.

Growing our folks is my legacy. My care. And my passion.

Such happiness is contagious –– when the boss has it, it trickles down throughout the entire organization and beyond to its clients. Happiness can spread to everyone who has a dream, a goal, and the will to change. Happiness can elevate and inspire people to make real and lasting changes in their own lives. Today, an enormous opportunity exists to (re) imagine and reinvigorate your workplace and workforce with FSO.

Clients like to think of FSO as the Ritz Carlton of the outsourcing business. Our team takes great pride in all that we do for you. We're all about making the Hospitality service, a pleasant and seamless experience, every single day. Whenever, wherever and however, our Team we'll always be there.

We continually strive to go "above and beyond" with our clients to provide the most enjoyable experience with the finest personal service and facilities and fulfilling even the unexpressed wishes and needs.

And we always deliver the rare, exceptional level of service that is really worthy of your gratitude. Unlike those Christmas envelopes you'll soon be delivering then shaking your head pondering "for what"?

There is  a poem. by an unknown author I discovered on Kate's site...

Smiling is infectious
You can catch it like the flu.
When someone smiled at me today
I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner
And someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized
I’d passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile,
Then I realized it’s worth.
A single smile just like mine
Could travel round the world.

So, if you feel a smile begin,
Don’t leave it undetected,
Let’s start an epidemic quick
And get the world infected!

That in mind please enjoy with my compliments this amazing version of the #1 Christmas anthem of all-time, based on the movie of the same name, It's the Most Wonderful Time featuring Natalie Cole and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

If you'd like the words from the song, go here. If you'd really like to get into the spirit f the season by viewing photos of New York at it's finest from the source of the one featured above go here.

And if you'd like to turn those outsourcing frowns to smiles, talk to us, witness us. We'll   take you on a tour of client sites and and let you taste the FSO experience first-hand where you'll see how different life has become for some of the best known-brands in the world.

Call me personally at 212-204-1193.

Feel the FSO Experience - and ensure everyone around you does too.

Here's to a wonderful week!

Love Life!

It's Shout Out Day: Here's Kudos To Our Stars

"The hospitality, articulation, knowledge and pride these folks take in their jobs is second to none. I am blown away with the night/day attitude shift from our former partner. Great job!"

Good Morning Folks,

Our clients love what we are doing for them.

When clients take time to write like this after months of being let down by their former Onsite Outsourcing partners, it is testament to what I've been saying all along: At FSO, our difference is people. They bring a passion for hospitality and service that is unduplicated.

To Our Team At The Advertising And Marketing Leader Whose 6,500 People In 188 Offices In 93 Countries Are On A Mission To "Resist The Usual" With FSO's Warmth and Hospitality By Their Side:
"I want to thank you for the support your entire team has given to me consistently on all my project. The benefits fair is probably the second biggest events we put on each year.  Thank you for being flexible and all the hard work your entire team has done to make this event successful. The feedback from the vendors was exceptional. When I speak to the vendor's, they all want to come here because how well organized, the warmth and accommodating support from your entire staff and team. I cannot tell you how many people raved over the food. I truly think each year this is why the event keeps getting bigger and bigger. Some of the vendors were shocked to know that the food was made in house. Thank you everyone - until next year."

Compliments to Lolita...
"I wanted to tell you how awesome Lolita is and what a great job she's doing!!!!!
Lolita has really made the benefit portion of our EG sessions much more personal and yes very productive, Lolita takes time to ensure every new employee walks away understanding our benefits or at least what's available. Lolita also provides her contact information to every new employee. Thank you so much for finding her and allowing me the opportunity to work with her."

Shakira at an Automotive Giant....
"I am writing you to express my heart-felt appreciation and commendation for Shakira who has brought a great dedication to her position here that is like no other! I have watched her take on many difficult situations here and show great resilience, concentration, dedication and all the while staying proactive and learning whatever she needs to make herself better at performing her job. A hallmark / calling card quality of hers that I have noticed is that she is a "Learning Machine"! Shakira has the ability to watch and comprehend very well, very fast and most of all very accurately... She has a very good heart, which you do not often find in today's world. A person who is fair and who takes responsibility for their actions is a rare find, and you have this in Shakira."

Diana & Tim at an AMLAW 200 Boston-Based Firm
"I am writing to express my thanks and appreciation to Diana and Tim in Office Services.  Diana and Tim helped my assistance Katherine with a large and urgent document production project last week. They did a fantastic job and the client was very happy with the final products. I just want let you know that we really appreciate their help"

Everything we do comes out of the experience, sensibilities, intelligence and humanity of our people. FSO puts people first, and their passion drives us to exceed your expectations every day, in every way.

We have lots to be thankful for, proud of, and reflect upon. Especially our Operation's team's flawless execution to ensure the career and customer satisfaction of the people and sites mentioned above. Thank you for making all of us shine every day.

Have a GREAT day as I look forward to seeing all of you soon.

Maria.. (Working at Boston HQ of AMLAW 200 Firm)
"Maria is a professional and has a great personality with co-workers and especially clients. When I bring a client in and she may still be in the conference room, I introduce Maria to our client and she is awesome she continues to give a warm welcome to them and conversation will go from there when I walk out. It is a good feeling to know that they are in good hands as I leave the conference room. Maria is so proud of the way she sets up the conference rooms for lunch, etc.  She is so proud will ask me to go in and see it, it truly is a great presentation done with a lot of pride. She is always moving, filling, checking and everything is so clean. It is great to see someone so proud of her job."

Amelinda... (Working at a Non-Profit dedicated to eradicating one of mankind's worst terminal challenges)
"I just want to let  you know that Amelinda is such a terrific and hardworking person.
I was using 3A and 3B yesterday for Dennis' meeting and using the rooms again today.  There was a meeting last night and obviously they needed to re-arrange the set-up.  Amelinda was in EARLY this morning so that the rooms could be reset for my meeting.
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate ALL her efforts.

GREAT JOB TEAM! It’s all about the hospitality and DNA of our folks. Thanks for making our clients proud they hired FSO and you.

Have a fabulous day filled with love and inspiration.

Inspire ME Friday: Appreciate Me

“Stopping to appreciate our accomplishments, finding what we have learned through the experience and how we can apply those things moving forward helps us to think more critically, thoughtfully and strategically moving forward. It also helps to energize you to keep pushing forward and to realize the value we provide.”

Good Morning Folks,

How many days have we gone home wondering what we accomplished in the day because we moved so quickly from one thing to the next?

Stopping to appreciate our accomplishments, finding what we have learned through the experience and how we can apply those things moving forward helps us to think more critically, thoughtfully and strategically moving forward. It also helps to energize you to keep pushing forward and to realize the value we provide.

So, today I celebrate my accomplishments and how my past experiences both good and bad got me to this point. I have learned from my mistakes and treasure each day with a new appreciation!

What a great reminder for a Friday, when we typically start to fret about we didn't get done this week. Instead, I'm going to do the happy dance around all the breakthroughs my clients got and all the new things I learned! A MUCH better way to wrap up the week.

==> Start Celebrating Yourself Today by Jacky Carter-Community Manager - Professional Women at LinkedIn

We can spend so much time managing our careers, our money and our relationships that we don't always stop to recognize our successes. We're too busy moving on to the next meeting, project or item on our to-do list. Or we set the bar so high we won't hit it for a while, if at all.

So today, let's celebrate.

Let's forget about outcomes. It's not about whether you got the promotion, the salary bump you asked for or the new client. Right now, it's the fact that you asked, you researched, you presented.

For just a few seconds, focus less on what's important to your boss, your company and your colleagues and zero in on what was progress for you.

Did you wake up early enough so that your morning wasn't rushed? Awesome.

Did you bring your lunch this week and save the money to go toward a new car? Nice work.

Did you rely less on your notes during a presentation? Way to go.

I bet, with a little practice, you'll even be able to find things to celebrate in less than ideal circumstances.

Like Rebecca, who started a discussion in Connect: Professional Women's Network, noting that she was laid off after 20 years in marketing and wanted to reinvent herself. Nearly 2,000 people commented with tips and support for handling the transition. Being laid off is rough, but I'm celebrating Rebecca being vulnerable enough to ask for advice and all the who people responded with encouragement and job leads.

Now it's your turn. What can you celebrate right now?

Have a HAPPY, SAFE and HEALTHY Weekend.

Love Life!

Shout Out Wednesday: CHO Club— Bringing Out Our Best

"Thank you for CHO Club. It was an honor to be chosen, and the venue was awesome. So many people work for companies and don't have the privilege of being able to interact with the President and Founders let alone share a drink with them after work! THIS is what sets us aside from the competition! These events are great because it puts us in touch with one another. The personal aspect of FSO is alive and well in this company."

Good Morning Folks,

FSO loves nothing more than rewarding our hard-working and valued employees! That in mind, our 7th monthly CHO Club convened before the holiday break at The Liberty in New York City.

Today, I write to say, "THANK YOU for INSPIRING ME." CHO Club was perfect, exciting, and, most important, INSPIRING. I so enjoy when we have a casual time to chat, recognize your victories, listen to your ideas, wins, strategies, and hopes for personal accomplishments.

The CHO club is just another example of going above and beyond to say thanks to the wonderful people who serve our clients each and every day. These monthly recognition meetings provide the perfect platform to award, recognize, and incentivize our top performers.

The entire executive Leadership Team and I were excited for some time to get PERSONAL and share your FSO experiences so we can learn and continue to grow. As you can see, we had tons of fun....

There is still time to qualify for September's CHO Club. Among the prerequisites for being nominated are kudos from managers and our clients. Kudos like...

The Banking Vice President of Administrative Services and Facilities who wrote about our James & Shanika .....
"Just wanted to say that James has brought the energy level way up for the entire team! He has people working harder and faster than I have seen before. The new associate, Shanika, continues to do fast accurate work, which has been nothing less than AWESOME!!!!  I want to thank you for your continued help in trying to build a successful team. We seem to be making progress, and I appreciate all of the work you are personally doing to make this happen."

Or the Telecom executive who wrote to us about Pernissa & Leo at a major national account...
"I wanted to recognize the fantastic work that you and Pernissa provided during our distribution of the new phones. This is a very high profile implementation requiring meticulous and careful inspection and packaging, and your help allowed me to turn the shipments around in the same day. I realize that the help you provided is above and beyond your normal scope of work and I sincerely appreciate it!  I have been raving to everyone about how great you guys are. Thanks Again!"

Plus, these kudos directly from the account's president about Ray & Cleon's ability to deliver hospitality and execute a beautiful experience that surrounds it...
"A huge and personal thanks from me to all of you for the tireless effort that went into yesterday’s sessions. The fact that we pulled it off was nothing short of an advertising miracle made possible because of all of you and the hustle. We secured a cinema, visited the site (twice), ordered more audio and tech equipment (who knew what a confidence monitor was?) fed 300 people, and had great attendance. We created four great stories for four of our next generation clients, and we invited our people to learn and share in our work. We even had a fake fire crackling in the background for our fireside chats. I mean, C’mon. We hosted a dinner with an ever changing cast of characters. A huge thanks to Jen W in the final days for the epic effort yesterday and to Theonia for arranging that site visit on a minutes notice and getting us there last week. As always, you make our space look legitimate- thank you."

From a Healthcare client testifying to the benefit of having an informed concierge like our Miguel and his "do anything for the customer" attitude...
"Several weeks ago, I reserved a “hotel room” on the website Hotels.com.   I arrived at your place to find out that "Luxury on the Hudson” was in fact a sublet apartment that I had reserved and, in fact, had already been charged for…. And, in fact, had been double booked. I was completely screwed. No place to stay and nowhere to go. One of your AMAZING concierge or desk service personnel, Miguel, helped me for HOURS.  He went SO FAR above and beyond to help me get settled, find a room, get a cab… everything.  He was absolutely fantastic and although continued to do his ACTUAL job…. He went out of his way to help me. I hope he is recognized for his professionalism, his help and his overall work ethic. Miguel… thank you. You are the man."

And finally a tribute to Carolin working on site for us at the world's largest advertising and public relations headquarters....
"You should all give Carolin a big THANK YOU for stepping up today. It was a tough Monday, fielding difficult and last minutes requests from our parent company for two different meetings/reservations. Although Carolin had not been involved in any of the bookings she handled all requests with professionalism, courtesy and  a true desire to help! She is to be commended."

Folks like those welcomed into CHO Club and given a shout out here truly personify the FSO experience and pleasant demeanor that keep our client's office running like a well-oiled machine. These folks come to work each with a big  smile on their face ready to help anyone out.

THANKS for all you do each and every single day.

To other companies reading this: Rewards are both earned and learned... so spread it on thick. Love on your workforce when they deserve it .... they will surely want to repeat the experience. As Richard Branson says: "If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your customers."

For employees, forging a fulfilling career is one of the most important — and often, most difficult —challenges in building a happy life. For employers, building a culture of happiness is key to cementing their brand’s success. When these interests converge, the result is a sense of belonging through shared values and an intangible, emotional belief that we are on a shared journey.

We look forward to giving YOU your own “Shout Out” coming soon to a Wednesday near you.

Have a GREAT day,

Love Life!

Shout Out Wednesday: Amazing Stars That You Can Always Count On

"These gentlemen are truly an example of what team work is all about. I am extremely proud of them and our client is too."

Good Morning Folks.

Taking care of our clients and always doing more to assist is what hospitality is all about.

Passion is a great gift, and we have a lot of gifted people. Their contagious enthusiasm and cheerful smiles engages senses, touches hearts and starts the day pleasantly for everyone they meet. Their sense of personal pride motivates managers and associates to act as if it's their name on the door. That's why we question everything. From comparing shipping prices to find better service at lower rates, or examining packaging so as to reduce costs and be kinder to the environment.

The ladies and gentlemen of FSO that I honor here today are truly an example of what team work is all about. I am extremely proud of each and every one of them, and our clients are too— they've even taken the time to commend them. Now hear from the customer's mouth kudos to....

Ervin- GroupM
"He embodies everything our company is about. Ervin goes above and beyond, to provide the best service possible to our client. All week has taken on more responsibilities that we have assigned him, but this has not stopped him coming up to us  asking what more he can do. This is just the type of person Ervin is. Ervin had just taken a seat at his desk, for the first time all day. An employee walked in asking about her lost ID, Ervin stood up with a big smile on his face and said, "let me show you where to go for that." He walked her all the way to our Facilities department, where he made sure she was helped by the staff there. Ervin could have told the employee to talk to Joe or I. He could have just explained where she needed to go, But that is not the type of person Ervin is. Ervin is the type of person, that when he comes back in from helping an employee who is  looking for a lost ID(not part of his job description), he is singing and dancing!"

Charlie, Darryl & Ray- GroupM
"We’ve been short a person this week, another called out and a third had today as a scheduled day off. We literally ran half staffed. But Charlie, Darryl and Ray didn’t let that affect them, they divided up the workload took only a half hour break and got the job done. I bought them lunch and told them to stop and eat…did they? No, they continued to get the work done and only when it was complete did they stop and take a break. These gentlemen are truly an example of what team work is all about. I am extremely proud of them and out client is too."

Cleon & Alex-PHD
“Just a note of praise for Cleon… Besides him always having a smile and a good morning for everyone, he works extremely hard and is willing to help with any project needed at any time. I just wanted you to know he is really magnificent and a wonderful asset.” Way to go Cleon!!"

"Alexa has done an excellent job in providing PHD Executives and other personnel’s within the company, with very timely and useful assistance concerning the procurement process of PHD. She is always quick to respond and very kind and friendly, making for both an informative, and enjoyable conversation. It is a pleasure to work with her, PHD is sure she will continue her exceptional services into the future."

Roger , Lisa & Robert - IMG (NY& Cleveland)
"Roger has really answered the leadership call. He is focused and proactive in assisting with the management of the IMG team. He has done such a great job communicating with the team and organizing out PTO schedule. Great job!"

"Lisa is the IMG Cleveland Informationalist who definitely ensures the team is abreast of the latest IMG company information. Lisa's years of reception experience are instrumental in the guidance she shares with her colleagues. She is truly a great member of the IMG team."

"Robert is the first one in the office and would be the last one to leave if it were allowed😊. Robert continuously takes great pride in his work and always had a bright shining face."

Daniel and Anthony - Sarah Lawrence College
"You are always willing to go above and beyond. The customer asked the team to participate in a short video to send to a student and the team made it happen! She was so glad that we participated in her odd request, that she sent us a Thank You email!!"

Donna – Fross Zelnick
"Donna has been with us for ONE WEEK, and has made an immediate impact since DAY ONE. End users are telling me that she has made a huge difference, I see the pride she takes in her work……….. the perfect example for her other teammates. So glad she’s on board."

Marcos and Lale -United Nations Book Shop
"Marcos has done a fantastic job dealing with the installation of the newly renovated book shop. The new client contact is very impressed with the way the shop operates. The team hit record numbers in sales over the past few months and are on target to exceed annual projections. SOOOOO appreciate the hard work, leadership and dedication shown by Marcos!!!!"

"Lale is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the customer is satisfied with the United Nations experience. She is very dependable and always willing to help."

Davidson, Edward, & Andre – Roberts & Holland
"Davidson, Eddie & Andre have provided steady, consistent and quality service to all the end users at R & H. The client absolutely loves them  and could not be happier with the team. This week they are in the process of moving Wills, etc…..from one bank vault to another – showing that FSO is and can be a true partner…….no matter what the task is."

Jannel & Inmaculada-VOYA
"We have had changes here where two people departed the company. Jannel has been working here for a while receiving plenty of training in Office services and at the reception desks. With the departure of Karina who assisted in Office services matters and as an Informationalist, Jannel has done a remarkable job in transitioning over and assuming both Office services duties and reception duties all while assisting in training our new Informationalist"

"I would like to also give a shout out Inmaculada . She has been great in providing coverage as an Informationalist and assisting us with our mailing and reprographics as well assisting me directly in binding materials for our clients."

As you can see from the client feedback, we are company on a mission to fulfill people's dreams. We also have strong client relationships with great potential to discover the art of the possible for mutual benefit.

Industry leading training, incentives, rewards, recognition and a TRUE career path sit at the heart of a successful company culture of hospitality and service that’s made the difference between a workplace people dread and one they brag about.

To employees: I  cannot think but how lucky we all are not just because we all have a job to provide for our families, but because we all have the opportunity to have fantastic careers here at FSO.

The fast-track we are on to growth and prosperity means promotional opportunities, an opportunity to earn more money to take care of your family and expand your knowledge and experience base.

I will work with you to ensure that PERSONAL, PASSIONATE, and PRODUCTIVE culture of FSO is not only maintained but enhanced.

Lets move mountains together so that we continue to be THE BEST ONSITE OUTSOURCING COMPANY IN THE WORLD!

Bottom line? We love what we do and know you will too.

Have a great day and thanks for being a part of our amazing journey.
