"To keep your employees motivated you have to create a purpose for their work, make them feel proud to work in your company, keep them constantly engaged and give them the opportunity to learn more."
Good Morning Folks,
Today, I write to you with great pride about our Future Leaders Program (FLP). Our Future Leaders are truly one of our greatest assets. FSO's Future Leaders are identified by their ability to engage and inspire those around them.
They have that "yes" mentality, deliver above and beyond expectations and represent our company's PERSONAL, PASSIONATE, PRODUCTIVE culture on a constant basis. So, it should come as no surprise that I am personally committed to selecting and providing outstanding people with the opportunity for advancement.
With that said, I'm thrilled to announce the promotions of several of our very own Future Leaders! In no particular order, please join me in congratulating: Joe Tynan, Russell Luce, Ray Francis, Alfred Pereira & Nitza Plaud on their advancement to Associate Experience Directors. All will continue to manage their current locations, but as part of their career growth and development they will be taking on more responsibilities supporting additional accounts for FSO.
Additionally, on the heels of a recent blog post I wrote about keeping employees motivated, I wanted to update you regarding an exciting new initiative that we launched for our amazing staff last Friday. As I penned over the weekend, to keep your employees motivated you have to create a purpose for their work, make them feel proud to work in your company, keep them constantly engaged and give them the opportunity to learn more.
With that said, I’m pleased to announce that on Friday I hosted FSO’s first-ever, “Breakfast with the CHO (Chief Happiness Officer)” ☺ A new bi-weekly initiative, these intimate breakfasts held in my office provide the perfect platform for me to say thank you, listen, share ideas, connect and motivate our wonderful employees.
Our first breakfast was quite a success and I’ve been humbled by the feedback that has been filling my inbox. I must say it was truly special to simply sit down with this first, small group and just ask them what they want and how they are doing. I am pumped for our next gathering with a new group of folks in two weeks!
As I’ve learned, an executive can spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on assessments and studies, but that doesn’t cover the unique needs, desires and ambitions of every individual working for you. In the world of motivation and engagement, it’s important to remember that all business is an interaction between people.
On that note, my commitment to everyone is that as we grow together we always bring a personal touch to business. Our love fest for our employees and clients is the only way to properly grow our business, and I will continue to take care of the people who take care of our business.
I will wrap this up by sharing some photos and feedback from the celebration ☺ I hope you enjoy.
Have a GREAT day as I look forward to seeing all of you soon.
Chief Happiness Officer
