Shout-Out Wednesday: "Oh How Lucky You Are, and How Lucky We Are!!

"I took a moment to meet Chad, our morning greeter. He was so welcoming, that big smile and friendly hello, it made me just want to introduce myself. Now every day, I get that same warm hello, regardless of how hot it is outside and it just helps me start my day off right. I wanted to let you know that Chad is making a difference in my world, starting my day off with a smile."

Good Morning Folks,

What an incredible past few days!

The new client onboards, new hires, promotions, the excitement, and the kudos pouring in from all over the country, what a great time it is to be a member of the FSO family.

Every day, my in-box fills up with words of thanks and congratulations from our clients expounding the great works and deeds of our employees. I can’t help but have a smile on my face as I share some of the client sentiments with you this morning.

We are truly Delivering the Experience and making FSO the Happiest place to work on the face of the Earth, as confirmed by clients and guests offering this week's kudos:

Crystal, (re)Imagine Hospitality Manager (Subject of her own story here last week)
"I just wanted to send you an email giving a Kudos to Crystal. If I ever have a question or an issue, she is always there being so helpful and with a pleasant attitude. I truly enjoy working with her!" ~~MN

Informationalist Hub, HQ
"Your front desk staff are very professional. Maria was very polite, professional and from the moment I walked in, she had a smile on her face. Just wanted to compliment because I have visited many offices and agencies where the front desk staff didn't look up/made eye contact or even responded when I said good morning or good afternoon. For job seekers like me, being welcomed with such big smile and professionalism when entering an agency is a pickup, a little light of hope :)."  (From a job seeker about her very first touch point with our own company— reception. This key service offering of ours carries the most weight. It's because your front of house is the storefront for your organization. Our team brings your brand values to life and make visitors feel warmly welcomed. We deliver high-quality visitor experiences that perfectly reflect your values.)

Capco Team
"Hello Jonathan,I just wanted to thank you and your team for all the hard work you all do on a daily basis. Your staff was very polite and helpful throughout my two weeks of ATP training at the New York office. It's been a pleasure meeting everyone and I look forward to seeing you all again in the near future. Hope you all have a great weekend." ~~ Associate Consultant - Washington, D.C./Capco

Y&R Team
"Demetrius, great job by Marlon Fogo of your team in identifying the suspected explosive device. It looked convincing to me. It was confirmed by Ann Davila that it is a cylinder computer. Attached are images of the computer as seen on the x-ray scanner and the actual computer from Apple. Great job!"  ~~Director of Security/Young & Rubicam Group
(see my separate post dedicated to this key service of FSO that is so critical in these uncertain times. Our people are trusted with responsibility for being the first line of defense for our clients in these circumstances, we conduct company-wide interactive sessions on Ricin and Suspicious mail/package training regularly)-

Being there for client where and when it counts:
A slide from FSO’s all-hands seminar on Ricin/suspicious mail training, shows the complexity of the issue
and expertise that you must confirm before selecting an outsourcing partner.
Some people look at Wednesday as being just a day in the middle of the week. For FSO, Wednesday should be a time where we look at what we've done this week, and for us all to think and say "What can I do to make the rest of the week amazing? That's what our folks at sites all over America are thinking right about now.

Perhaps that is why I love Wednesdays.... because it gives everyone an opportunity to reflect upon things, and challenge oneself to make the rest of the week great!! Because the "rest of the week" is just a little bit of our future.... so what we do great today makes our future even greater!!

To all of our employees receiving these commendations from our clients, CHEERS to you and THANK YOU for working tirelessly to deliver Service Extraordinaire with a smile. Keep up the great work!!

IT IS YOU that makes FSO who we are. Love Life!

Kudos Wednesday: To Our July Rockstars— Thank You!

'I can't tell everyone how thrilling it has been to be on this GREAT JOURNEY.  This is such an amazing company, and we all have so much to offer --- very overwhelming, and a real joy to participate in (CLIENT LOVEFEST) each and every single day!!  We own the day, we rock it, AND it shows!!
~~ FSO Employee on Awards Call

Good Morning Folks,

The weather in New York has been fabulous. I hope all of you have had the chance to enjoy the summertime with family and friends. The FSO Nation has been going full steam ahead, delivering the world class experience that has made us famous from coast to coast.

Before we get to the awards, I'd like to point out some very special recognition we received in a client's blog. You've seen all the kudos we've shared about our employees from this client, Capco, and now this recognition is icing on the cake.

In their post they mention my fellow workforce happiness leader Simon Sinek's new book (Leaders Eat Last) where Simon (who has been featured right here on MitchWeiner.com's Ted Tuesday), talks about employees and happiness at work. He contends that only a minority of employees feel fulfilled and truly happy at work… and it is of our own doing.

Sinek reckons employees are not happy because we have built systems and constructed orgaizations that force the human animal to work in environments in which it does not work best…. and one which encourages us to look after ourselves first and be suspicious of others.

Capco's takeaway was confirmation that trust plays such an important part in creating the right environment for employees … and acts as the lubrication that reduces friction and creates conditions much more conducive to high performance.

As such they were delighted to boast that we are a trusted partner blogging:
"As I thought about how good it felt to be recognised by our clients, I realised we don’t do enough of that with our own vendors and partners. How many of us have said thanks or well done to FSO and RPO - our partners helping us provide a world class experience in the office and helping us hire world class colleagues. They are a critical part of making Capco what it is...stop by - say thanks!"
Every day, people search for something that motivates them. Things to get them out of bed, things to get them pumped up, things to help them make it through the day and so much more! What a great thing to be able to say about your job!

Thanks to you Capco for giving us the privilege to serve you. Here are the July winners who personify our leaders of the future.

You can read what our clients had to say about these Rockstars HERE and HERE and HERE and look forward to many more kudos we've received for our employees that will be published next Wednesday.

What amazing teams ~ the energy and passion were unmistakable!!

We've built and grown his business with an emphasis on people – the hardworking, dedicated employees who care about doing a great job for our clients. Without your passion, energy and care, we would not be the company that we are today.

As we approach the third and final holiday weekend of summer, have a fabulous, sunny, day filled with love and inspiration.

Hugs all around,

It's Wednesday: That Mean's It's Atta' Boy Time (or Girl): Here's a Shout Out To Our Stars (Part Two of Two)

"Your guys are amazing. All of them! They truly go above and beyond, coming in early for 7:30am set up to just delivering the white glove service that elicits comments (from clients and hosts ) such as “flawless”

Celebrating good times at the company meeting "circle lining" it around the isle of Manhattan!
We rocked the boat which
is a great metaphor for what we do every day in the field.
No one celebrates the way we did Monday night.
At least not for the site staff.
YES, the competition does those events for their senior management
(and golf and retreats, etc...) but not for the site staff.

Good Morning Folks,

Monday was a historic day for FSO. With great planning and execution by Hope, Aida and Crystal, we had all of our Field Management and National Sales Team at Headquarters for a great day of planning, strategizing and recognizing the people and processes key to our success.

Then we took to the Hudson on the Circle Line to celebrate our rapid ascent as the fastest growing player in our league. The night exemplified what FSO stands for: family, teamwork, a fabric and culture that cannot be replicated by any of our competitors. Everyone on the team knows their position and role and they work in harmony to execute greatness. That is what FSO is all about – a perfect harmony of perfection and greatness.

Our clients love what we are doing for them. As an example check out what our kids did to earn sixteen yes 16 combined compliments from our client Capco in one month!

When clients take time to write like this after months of being let down by their former suppliers, it is testament to what I've been saying all along: At FSO, our difference is people. They bring a passion for hospitality and service that is unduplicated.

Here is part two of the April/May shout-outs and kudos we started last Wednesday. I am honored to be in the company of all mentioned:

==> Capco Team **7 Kudos in 1 Month**
"Hi Jonathan, Hope you are well! We so loved working with you and your team on the Capco event. I am not sure you remember us talking about this, but I mentioned early on that we might be interested to have someone from your company come to our office in Atlanta for a "consultant for a day" type experience with our Office Management team. I know it’s probably not something you typically do, but I was hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction of someone we can talk to on your end? To be completely honest, I can’t even remember the name of your company, but I do remember the professionalism and I guess that’s what counts right?!! :) Thanks for your help!" ~~ Palmer Booth Ramsay/World 50

==> Ralphy Mata and Christopher Rodriquez, Liquidnet
I just wanted to take the opportunity to recognize Ralphy Mata and Christopher Rodriquez for their commitment to LN. I have been out sick and we had an event on Tuesday night that would have required me to stay late and work a very long day.  Ralphy and Christopher stepped up to the plate and ensured all would be taken care of and I was able to leave work at 7pm instead of 10pm.The two of them did an awesome job managing the event and cleaning it up – everything was put away and cleaned up perfectly. What a relief to know I have these 2 great guys to count on. I am extremely happy to have them here at LN. Please let folks know at FSO what a great job they both did! Thanks!"``CATHERINE PETERSON/ OFFICE MANAGEMENT AT LIQUIDNET

Barbara Francis, who works the trading desk came up to me and said it is truly a pleasure to deal with Rene and he is always willing to help he with last minute printing jobs. Rene understands the meaning of customer focus and he should be recognized for the great work he does here at LN.Thanks!" ~~CATHERINE PETERSON/ OFFICE MANAGEMENT AT LIQUIDNET

The statue of liberty that we circle Monday night (incredible photo below by our wn Nick Williams), is a symbol of opportunity and prosperity that perfectly sums up the growth and opportunity available to us at FSO. I love the energy, the love and the FSO difference. That is what these customers we've heard from today are expressing their appreciation for.

We have lots to be thankful for, proud of, and reflect upon. Especially our Chief Chaos Officer, Jim Caton, pictured with me above, who is 50 years young this morning! Jim and his team's flawless execution ensure the career and customer satisfaction of the people and sites mentioned above. Thank you Jim for making all of us shine every day.
